STRESS 2006 will feature one afternoon of presentations by summer school participants. This will give participants an opporunity to report on previous and planned research and to obtain feedback from other participants and summer school lecturers.
Students may present their ideas in a 15 minute research presentation or in a poster (or both). Because time and space for presentations is limited, students wishing to give a presentation or present a poster are requested to submit the material that they wish to present to the organizers by April 14. The STRESS Organizing Committee will evaluate the proposed presentations and posted based on quality and novelty and will select a collection of presentations to be given at STRESS.
Specifically, here are the materials students are asked to submit if they wish to present a presentation or poster.
- Presentation: Students should present a research paper not exceeding 10 pages in length as well as a PDF file containing slides of the 15 minutes presentation they wish to give.
- Poster: Students should submit a PDF file containing the image(s) of a poster (or poster components) that they would like to present.
Awards will be given for the best student presentation and best poster as selected by the STRESS Organizing Committee.
